Ok, yes, I was among the trillions of people waiting to see New Moon. I wasn’t a Twilight fan before being at the RedBox one night and nearly nothing else was available, but ya girl was hooked! I watched Twilight all of 3 times in 2 days and loved every minute of it. So, it was to my sheer delight when I heard New Moon was coming (nearly as excited about Sex and the City 2! lol)

In retrospect, if you loved Twilight you’re gonna L-O-V-E New Moon. I’m not sure how they did it, but this one is actually better than the first one! I am, by the way, a proud member of Team Edward, so it’d be who of me to get the next book in the saga and get to reading. I even loved the ending to New Moon, and I’m a hard critic on endings.

What I identified most with in the movie is Bella’s quest for love and her uncontrolable teenage feelings. As much as this is a vampire/wolverine flick, its a movie about being a teenage girl. I can only wonder what the people watching the movie who can’t identify with love got out of it. I have been there, helplessly in love where death was a probable possibility, it seems extreme but for some folks, they understand. I’ve had the Edward, I’ve had him leave, I’ve had the Jacob….but unlike Bella Swan I am NOT a pimp and they are/were not fighting over me…shows my female abilities, lol.

Anywho, I loved this movie and I loved the truest reality of love and human emotion in it. I HIGHLY SUGGEST SEEING THIS MOVIE! But first, I’d go see Twilight, it will be a waste of a great movie if you don’t see them in order. In love with Steph Meyer right now! lol

This is my first soul deep posting…this is when I get personal and share my feelings regarding personal things in my life. I must, must, MUST vent about this man…he has over complicated my brain for the day.

We met about a month ago, he’s a really nice guy. We liked each other, started hanging out, enjoying each others company. He’d come and spend time with me, we’d watch movies, get some work done together, etc. So we have a conversation and dude says “I’m trying to stay away from you because I know what’s going to happen. I like you and I’m gonna start being around you too much and spending too much time with you and not getting work done.” My response “Don’t over complicate things, we like each other, hang out, enjoy each others company, lets just let it flow.” His response “No, you don’t understand.” My thought…dude…you’re doing the most.

So I’m irritated. It’s either one of two things, either one he doesn’t want to kick it with me anymore, which is cool, but let’s be grown about it and just say “Yo, I don’t really want to kick it with you like that anymore.” That’s one scenario. Next option is that this dude REALLY does think this makes sense. I like her, I’m gonna wanna be her man, I don’t want a relationship so I don’t want to kick it with her anymore…realllllly??? lol That’s so stupid to me. Let’s no over complicate things! We enjoy each others time, and we’re both two PICKY individuals so when you DO find someone you can actually hold a conversation with, laugh with, have fun with and are sexually attracted to at the same time, stop running and being afraid of the future. You’re a man of God, right? So you know that if we’re supposed to be together God will bring that into fruition and if we’re not, He won’t. Stop making it so EXTRA!

Truthfully, I honestly think it’s BS. Don’t misunderstand whats going on, I’m not talking to other people because it’s just not my STYLE. I’m not trying to become wifey, I don’t know you like that…I just want to spend time with you. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m the definition of the “wifey” chick, and I’m too much for men to just hang with me…I’m not trying to marry you, but can I be good to you, anyway though? Ugghhhh….

Ok, so for someone who reads all of the time like me, this is a MUST. I’m carrying at least one book in my purse ALL of the time and it feels like I’m carrying a BOWLING ball. Now, it’s official, I want Amazon’s Kindle! What is the Kindle you ask? Well first off, if you haven’t heard of it, you’re officially living under a rock. Basically, the Kindle is like an MP3 player for books so instead of carrying books around, it holds loads of electronic books that you read just the same way, and its uber cute and convenient. It even has cute little cases!

So, its official, I want a Kindle! And guess what? They’re not that expensive…they’re only $259 (Although they have a deluxe version, a bit bigger for nearly $500…this basic one is JUST fine for me.) The basic version holds about 1,500 books and the cost per book is around $10 (via my research with the books I’M interested in.) It’s official…I’m a Kindle fanatic! I MUST have one SOON! I may not be able to pay my rent, but I WILL have a Kindle!

Hello World! Welcome to Glamour.Love.Life, MY blog. I figured I’m way too much of a person not to have a blog…I think constantly. Ideas, fashion, music, etc. So, this is me, and if no one ends up reading this but me, so be it, but it SHALL be a positive place of expression for me. I truly do hope you enjoy it though :-)
